Performing Assessments and audits and assessing reports received from regulators and auditors
A maturity assessment or an AVG audit. Evaluation of reports from external auditors, regulators or even providers of services. Having risks and issues and expected improvements clarified and agreed.
Design and implement the security assurance process
Understanding, matching or chosing a control framework. Develop and implement the assurance process, ensure controls are being proven properly and efficiently. This could be automation with an Information Security Management System.
Develop and present Information Security Improvement Plan
Based on all available assessments and audits, perform business process and risk analysis and develop and agree an improvement plan.
Manage, coordinate and review Information Security improvements
Work with the specialists and ensure improvements within the agreed timeframe.
Identifying solutions, training and motivating internal staff, review quality of improvements is where I can really bring added value.
Develop and perform Information Security and Risk dashboard and reporting
As part of the assurance process, ensure controls are being proven properly and efficiently, and reported clearly to the Management Board.
